National Maine Day🦞

Tomorrow is National Maine Day! 🦞🩷

Maine is featured in my 3rd Book, “Kami Visits Illinois, Maine, and Oregon,” so I wanted to share my YouTube video I made a few years back where I talk all about Maine! Search “Noni’s Big Hugs Visiting Maine” on YouTube to watch the video!

FUN FACT: 90% of the country’s toothpick supply is produced in Maine.

BIG HUG 1: Beacon Light representing the only candy-cane striped lighthouse called West Quoddy Head, located in the easternmost point in the country. Maine has over 60 lighthouses.

BIG HUG 2: Scale the Wall representing the Milton Bradley, Spider-Man 2002 board game based on the comic book which features Spider-Man and several of his traditional villains, like the Vulture. Mr. Bradley, the producer of this board game and over 100 more, was born in Vienna, Maine.

BIG HUG 3: Pincher Plie (pronounced “plee-ay”) represents the pinchers on the lobsters. Approximately 40 million pounds (nearly 90%) of the nation’s lobster supply is caught off the coast of Maine.
